What God And I Find Funny.

God and I are similar in that we both have a very strange, very fucked-up sense of humor.

For instance, I came across the Unnovations site Friday afternoon and couldn't stop laughing. It's filled with fake products like this:

The last time I laughed this hard was when I recently saw "Wildboyz," one of my favorite shows. It's when Steve-O and Chris wiped large quantities of frothy camel spit all over each others faces and proceeded to vomit. And it wasn't even the first time I'd seen this episode, but all their episodes are fucking hilarious. Something about watching these guys gag or screaming in pain never ceases to amuse me. Anyway, my girlfriend forced me to channel, with the lame excuse being that we were eating dinner.

This didn't make me laugh as hard, but I got a good chuckle out of it. I think God finds these things funnier than I do, as he's a big fan of irony:

New York City being the bastion of quality journalism, I wasn't surprised to see that the front page news was about an 11-year-old girl who got a shitty yearbook picture. Granted, it's the Post ... but even for them, this is pretty damn pathetic. My junior year photo looked much worse than hers, and I didn't even get a small article in the LA Times.

The irony is her parents wanted the elementary school to recall all 200 yearbooks so that they could replace the photo before other people saw it and ridiculed their poor child. Now, because of the NY Post and Good Morning America, millions of people have seen this kid's ugly picture. But then again, with comments like "Who knows, one day she might be famous or have a lot of money and someone could blackmail her with that picture," I was laughing and pointing at the mom.
