Miami Has Decent Sushi.

Our flight was delayed for over an hour so they could fix a leg rest of one of the First Class seats. So dozens of passengers missed their connecting flights, but at least a man's feet were comfortably elevated. I didn't notice any of this because I was thoroughly engrossed with my first non-Murakami airplane read in years: Ender's Game.

This is the first time I've set foot in one of my least favorite places on this planet, Florida. But so far I'm liking Miami. Our hotel's in the middle of South Beach, which is chock full of neon, Art Deco, and succulent women.

I asked some friends for meal recommendations, and it seems Joe's Stone Crab is the only worthwhile restaurant in the entire city, as that's the only place they unanimously mentioned. But thanks to that busted First Class leg rest, Joe's was closed when we got there. So no Stone Crab for us. Luckily there was a pretty good sushi joint down the block called Shoji.

It was while we were sitting outside at Shoji that I realized that hot, model-esque females were parading up and down the sidewalk. This is pretty good for a Tuesday night.

Can't wait til Art Basel.
