Seattle Pics.

If I hadn't fallen asleep at 5 AM last night I'd write more substantial captions for these photos. But me thirsts for slumber, hence I'll keep these short and unamusing. This was my first time in Seattle, and here's the Space Needle and my kid sister's forehead.

Utterly disgusting giant wall of chewed gum ... wonder what it tastes like.

Pike Place Market: Where tourists watch guys throw and catch trout, the birthplace of Starbucks, and where humans are raised in indoor feedlots by the Loback Meat Co.

I took a picture of these irises, because they're my girlfriend's favorite flower. Out of curiosity I selected the "Foliage" setting on my camera. Jesus Christ, even a blind person can see the purple in this photo.

When he was dating my sister, my brother-in-law spent over a month painstakingly illustrating a poster-sized replica of the cover of my sister's favorite book. He replaced "James" with my sister's name because it was her birthday present. I figured any guy who worshiped my sister that much had to be a decent fellow.

My sisters weren't all that impressed with EMP architecturally and told me it really wasn't worth checking out, but being a fan of Gehry's, I went to check it out anyway.

Once again, Pike Place Market.

I remember posting photos of this installation when it debuted a couple of years ago, so I was pretty chuffed to see it in person at the newly remodeled Seattle Art Museum. Wow, sleep is going to feel so fucking incredible.
